Our Programmes

Academic Preparation Programme

The Academic Preparation Programme (APP) gives students the support they need to thrive in their academic studies. Designed specifically for international students, the modules have just the right mixture of English, study skills and exam techniques to help you learn how to study successfully and enjoy life in the UK.

One Year GCSE Programme

The One Year GCSE Programme enables students not only to secure the qualifications they require to progress to more advanced studies but also to acquire the essential academic skills they need to make a success of their further studies.

The syllabus encompasses a core GCSE curriculum of Mathematics, English, and Science. Students may also choose a further two optional subjects from; Art and Design, Further Mathematics, Geography, History, Languages or Triple Science.

University Pathway

The University Pathway course has been designed to give international students the support they need to apply successfully for business-orientated vocational degree programmes in UK universities.

The course covers English Language, Business, Mathematics and Studying in the UK.  In English language students are taught the language skills required for studying in English, preparing them for essays and examinations. In Business, students work on a series of projects and tasks, often in pairs or groups, to research, develop and then present ideas, a way of studying that is much closer to the independent learning they will experience at university.

A-level courses normally take between three and six terms to complete and prepare students for successful application to a full range of competitive degree courses at prestigious universities. The course provides students with superb teaching, delivered by experienced and committed A-level subject specialists.

Business BTEC

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma is the vocational equivalent to two A-levels, taught over one year or two and providing the same university entry scores as A-level.  It provides a practical and theoretical introduction to business which will suit those interested in a career in business who want a more hands-on course than A-level.

Easter Revision Course

Oxford Tutorial College is one of the more established providers of Easter Revision Courses, having successfully organised revision courses since 1984 and developed an effective and thorough format for delivering them.

The Course offers a fresh look at the key topics in the chosen subject and providing an intensive overview of the specified core material. Courses are offered at both A-level and GCSE. Teaching takes place at Brasenose College.
